Welcome to The Crafting Co-Op
Where we love art and crafting, and want to share that passion with others.

Our Mission
At The Crafting Co-Op, we believe creativity is a reflection of God’s own creativity in us. Our mission is to bring that joy to celebrations, families, and communities—inviting people to experience connection, confidence, and purpose through crafting. We want to change how people think about art by reminding them that creativity isn’t reserved for “artists”; it’s a God-given ability everyone can enjoy.
Our vision
Our vision is to create spaces—whether at parties, events, or through our Kids Crafting Club—where people feel safe, inspired, and encouraged to explore their creative gifts. We strive to help each person discover the beauty of crafting, build meaningful connections, and grow into the creativity God designed uniquely for them.

Meet your creative coordinators
We’re two creative minds on a mission to help others explore their God-given imagination through art and crafts. Through hands-on projects and meaningful creative experiences, we create space for little lights—and grown-up ones—to shine with confidence, joy, and purpose.

Hi! I’m JPow — a creative and dog mom, who loves all things design, arts, and crafting. I’ve been in the creative field for over 20 years, have my BFA from UNT, and have taught homeschool art classes. Crafting has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember, and I have always enjoyed the joy it brings to create something with my hands and imagination. My hope is to help inspire some of that same joy for others with The Crafting Co-Op. When I'm not crafting or designing, you can probably find me at the dog park with Freddie Mercury, my rockstar pup.

Hi! I’m Kim — a homeschooling mom of 5 with over 20 years of experience working with kids. I’ve always loved crafting and creating, whether it’s sewing or putting together fun hands-on projects. I have an associate’s degree in education and am passionate about making learning fun and creative. When I’m not homeschooling or crafting you can usually find me reading or playing board games with my family.
